### Education Decision Platform A platform that helps students make high-stakes education decisions by combining **AI research, personalized decision support, and real human experience**. Students spend weeks or months deciding things like: * Which college or university should I choose? * IIT Bombay vs IIT Delhi? * Which branch should I take? * Which IIM should I choose? * Which university should I attend for my master's? * US vs Canada vs Germany? * Which program gives me the best career path? * Is this expensive degree actually worth it? There is already a huge amount of information available, but that doesn't necessarily make the decision easier. Rankings, Reddit posts, YouTube videos, placement reports, consultants, friends and AI can all give different answers. Students still struggle because the decision is **personal, high-stakes and full of trade-offs**. The platform combines two things: **AI handles information and analysis.** It can research universities, compare programs, collect fees and placement data, analyze curriculum, estimate costs, identify career outcomes, summarize reviews and build a personalized comparison based on the student's goals and constraints. **Humans provide experience and perspective.** Students can talk to people who have actually experienced the option they are considering — current students, alumni, graduates and professionals. Instead of simply asking: > "Which university is best?" the platform helps answer: > **"Given who I am, what I want, and the options I have, what are the trade-offs between my choices?"** For example, a student could enter: > "I have IIT Bombay Mechanical and IIT Hyderabad CSE. I want to become a software engineer but I'm also considering higher studies." The AI researches the options and identifies the important trade-offs. It can then connect the student with people who have taken similar paths — for example, an IIT Bombay Mechanical graduate who moved into software and an IIT Hyderabad CSE graduate working in software. The platform does **not need to decide for the student**. Its purpose is to make the decision clearer by combining: **Data + AI analysis + personal context + real human experience.** Over time, this could become a marketplace where students can find highly relevant people to speak with: > "Talk to someone who studied this exact program, graduated recently, and went into the career you're considering." The initial product could focus on one narrow decision, such as **choosing between study-abroad admits**, and gradually expand into college selection, branch selection, MBA decisions, master's programs and eventually broader education and career decisions. The long-term vision is: > **A decision platform for the most important education choices in a person's life.** Not another education consultancy. Not another university-ranking website. Not another AI chatbot. **A place where AI gives you the information, humans give you the experience, and you make the decision.**
